Organoid cultures have redefined the type of biological data that can be obtained using in vitro models. Organoids are three-dimensional cell cultures that recapitulate some of the key cell types and structural features of the represented tissue of origin. These "mini-organs" enable scientists to investigate complex research questions in vitro by providing highly relevant tissue model systems. Using organoids, researchers are able to maintain and manipulate cells that recapitulate many of the intra- and intercellular characteristics of their specific tissue-of-interest, including disease phenotypes. At STEMCELL Technologies, we have developed specialized reagents and protocols for a variety of organoid culture systems that reduce variability and support robust organoid growth. Our organoid media for intestinal, cerebral, pancreatic and hepatic organoids are designed to make advanced, 3D culture systems more accessible and impactful within the scientific community.
