Call for abstracts

  • Abstracts for oral presentations and posters can be submitted for all topics.
  • To submit your abstract for oral presentations or poster please use our online submission system!
  • You may submit abstracts for oral presentations AND / OR poster presentations.
  • There is no limit in the number of abstracts you are allowed to submit for the congress.
  • Please do not submit an abstract for an oral presentation and an identical one for an additional poster.
  • The abstracts will be reviewed by the members of the scientific committee.
  • Young scientists, who submit abstracts, may additionally apply for the young scientist travel awards.

To prepare your abstract, please read the instructions for authors:

You are welcome to submit your original scientific abstract no later than 15 July 2019 23:59 - closed. Missed the deadline? Contact the congress office!

Submissions can be uploaded as abstract or poster, using our online submission system. Please note that the structure of the submission needs to comply with good scientific practice.

Please take the special theme and topics of our conference into account. Your abstract will be peer-reviewed by independent experts. In case of acceptance we will include your submission in our conference proceedings. You accept publication in the conference abstract booklet implicitly by submitting your contribution.

Please consider the following guidelines, too:

  1. Your abstract must not exceed 500 words.
  2. Provide full first and last names of all authors; abbreviate middle names (e.g., Peter R. S. Parker)
  3. Provide affiliations including institute/company, town and country for all authors.
  4. Abstracts may include no more than five (!) references. Excess references will be deleted.
  5. References must be formatted as follows: Authors (Year). Publication name Volume, Pages. DOI.

    Borotkanics, R. Trush, M. and Locke P. (2015). Appl In Vitro Toxicol 1, 262-275. doi:10.1089/aivt.2014.0006
    e.g. (4 or more authors)

  6. References must be cited in the text with 1,2,3
  7. Do not include Tables or Figures in the Abstract
